Best Practices for CPA Websites
KLS Web Solutions

If You Build It, They Will Come (But They Might Not Stay!)

Have you ever found yourself answering the same questions about your site repeatedly? Do you get complaints from visitors who can't find the information they need? When you created the site, it all seemed to flow logically, or so you thought. That's because you have the inside scoop. Your visitors don't.

One of the best tips I can give anyone who is developing or revising a site is to have the people who will actually use the site give it a good going-over. Get feedback from clients or business associates with regard to your navigation, page structure, link titles and information provided.

Can they find what they need? Do they understand how to get to the various sections of your site? Do they struggle with finding information or can they intuitively navigate to it? Take their comments to heart and make adjustments as necessary. Your visitors will appreciate it!
