Google AdWords: Determining ROI
So, you've been running AdWords for a while and you
think it is producing pretty well. Before you make a
commitment to continue the campaign(s), however,
you'll want to run a few numbers. (Easily done for a
CPA, right?)
With all the tracking information available through
Google, you can quickly determine the lifetime ROI of
this marketing method. Since the implementation of
your campaign(s) until now, how has AdWords
produced for you? How many prospects have clicked
from your ads to your site? How many visitors that
reached your site have you converted to paying
clients? What is the average cost per conversion? Is
that higher or lower than the cost using other
methods?
By evaluating the cost, time and results, you can
determine the lifetime ROI, compare that to previously
used lead generation projects and then make a
confident decision about whether or not to continue.
